Quantifiers

Some phrases like “there exists” & “for all” etc, which are appear in mathematical statements like,

p: For every prime p, \sqrt p is irrational.

q: there exist a positive number y such that y > 3.

\exists : There exist, \forall : for all,

 \ni : Such that etc.

The above symbols are used for corresponding quantifiers.

The word “and”, “or” are called connectives and “there exists”, “for all” are called quantifiers.
