Solution of Linear Inequality in one Variable

\to Solution:

Values of x , which make inequality a true statement.

Example: 3  is a solution for x < 7.

\to Solution Set:

The set of values of x is called its solution set.

Example: \{1,2,3,4,5,6\} is a solution set for x < 7 , where x is natural number.

 \to Graphical Representation:

The Graphical Solution of a linear inequality in one variable is represented on a number line.

Example: 3x+5 \geq 8 \implies 3x \geq 8-5 \implies x \geq1, x \in R
